Scooter On The Wall is a memorable experience
Food review of Scooter On the Wall at SDA Market
The soft ambient lighting at Scooter On The Wall, wrought iron furniture and hanging benches gave a cosy feel to the place. That coupled with quirky decor on the walls and ceiling told me that I am in for a treat.
And the food did not disappoint.
We kick started our scooter straight into the top gear with the Chicken Burrah, succulent pieces of chicken dipped in think tangy gravy made the perfect starter. Highly recommended.
The surf and turf platter was up next and it was just amazing – they seemed to have put the ocean on the plate. Switching gear from ocean to farm, the hot garlic chicken wings were hot and tangy. Nice!
We again changed gears to vegetarian for a change and found the Falafel with Pita and Wagon platter waiting. Both didn’t disappoint.
But, the Mewari Papri Paneer tikkas were just too good, with the Navratras coming up these could be a life saver for many hardcore carnivorous in Delhi.
Changing gears again to the main course we tried the Tandoori Chicken Pizza and Cafe Fresh Pizza, veg and non-veg burgers.
My favourites was the pepper glaze chicken steak. These were good and filling portions and for a change nothing experimental – just solid good food.
The India entrees were also pretty good, especially the butter chicken, Chick Maratha and of course the Dal Makhaani. Give delhites a good dal makhani and they will be your fans for ever.
No meal is complete without drinks, and I found myself switching gears again. I tried fruity mocktails for a change (rather than my usual chocolate shakes) anti oxidant and spicy kiwi were both tangy sweet drinks. Sangria was good as usual. The photos don’t do justice to the presentation.
My favourite drink was the Anti Oxidant, it’s a concoction of various crushed berries. Just like berries, it is refreshing, light, sweet and tangy.
All in all a great dining experience. Highly recommended.
